Trials
There are only 8 badges available in 16 missions. We have listed and explained them below. Initially, the challenges are hidden, but you can still unlock them during the first pass.
Do not cross over to the other side with any character
This is a difficult task that you should approach only when repeating the mission at an easy difficulty level, as this means that there will be fewer opponents on the map and it will be much easier to sneak past them. To get this badge:
Cooper, Kate and Sanchez must stay on the left side of the canyon- the side where they started the mission. They must also choose the left path leading to the cemetery.
Isabelle and McCoy should stay on the right side of the canyon. They also have to choose the right path leading to the cemetery.
Approach the chapel through the left entrance.
Theoretically, this and the next task exclude each other, although by winning one of these icons, you can load the previous save and choose a different path. This will allow you to win both badges in one playthrough. You can also "don't cheat" and choose a different path during the next playthroughs. Unfortunately, the left path is much more difficult to pass due to, for example, several long coats that are located in each other's viewing cones.
Approach the chapel through the right entrance.
The right path involves crossing a bridge - it is much easier to sneak along it.
Don't kill anyone (except for the mission objectives)
This challenge greatly complicates the mission, so you should only try to get it if you repeat the level at an easy difficulty level. The requirement to keep everyone alive is especially difficult:
When dealing with three-man patrols, you can't kill them in an easy way (with a sawn-off shotgun). You have to sneak past them or, for example, dazzle them with Kate's perfume.
Avoid snipers and characters standing in advantageous positions - you cannot use McCoy's sniper rifle (except for the final confrontation with Frank). Check the snipers' vantage points frequently and try to distract them using Kate.
